  We have moved few times in the last few years due to job and contracts etc. This move today with My Tucson Movers was by far the smoothest and easiest. Great team and fast workers. They earned the money honestly and I say that because I have seen movers find ways to stretch their work hours but with this team today, they were very fast and hardworking. Loved it. Even though the move was not cheap but I still tipped a lot more than I had planned because I was just really happy with the experience. If they serve in an area I am moving to or from, I will definitely contact My Tucson Movers again. Their hourly rates are also better than most quotes I got.

  Let me start by explaining that we closed on our house earlier than anticipated and had to scramble to find a moving company as there was really only one day we could move. I called 2 companies, and this one was available. They got 4 stars and were BBB accredited, so I felt safe. When I called to get a quote for this move, I was only informed the cost would be $135/hr for 2 movers with a 2 hour minimum. A truck fee, fuel fee, and material fee were not mentioned. I did not think to ask about other costs having only been moved by professional movers once before. When the truck showed up, 3 guys were there. They informed me that it would be $165/hr for 3 guys, which was fine as I thought they may be done faster. They also informed me there would be $135 truck fee and $65 fuel fee (we were moving 15 minutes north east to our new home). They said there would be material charges for shrink wrap and large boxes. We had all our things packed in boxes that would fit into the packing boxes you can buy at hardware stores. They said we would have to put a deposit of $2300 for 8 hours for them to move us, but insured us we would likely get some back as they did not think we would use the whole time or as much materials as they quoted us. We gave them our credit card as we had to move that day and could not get another company on such short notice. They used some "wardrobe" boxes for large items, 2 boxes for televisions, picture boxes for 2 large mirrors, along with shrink wrap on furniture. We were charged $439 for materials. They worked until 5PM and suddenly said it was time for them to leave. They claimed our final cost was $2119 and said we would have a refund of the difference. Upon walking through the house after they left, we found they had left a bed frame and 2 dresser mirrors unassembled, and our heavy wooden bar was left on its side in our yard, when we had wanted it under a covered patio. It got rained on that night before we could get 2 friends to come over the next day to help us move it under the covered patio. Also, we never got our money back from our deposit. I called a week later to discuss this and was told it would be looked into and I would get a call back. That never happened. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. Crystal Rider

  My Tucson Movers was very helpful. I sent pictures of the items and the estimated quote was spot on. The movers worked the entire time, no lingering to get more hours. They worked fast and carefully. Nothing was broken or lost. We were pretty prepared, so that helped to keep them in the estimated time frame. I highly recommend My Tucson Movers Company. They were professional and expedient.
