National Freight in South Bend Indiana is the absolute worst work environment I have ever seen. Sid Brown CEO would be mortified if he was a fly inside his four walls observing what I have. The management is horrible under Pat G and if you are wondering if this is a great place to work I will tell you first hand that it is not. I was lied to about a bonus that never paid out even though it was promised at my pre-hire interviews and again at my 6 month review. Manager Pat Gigliotti will not accept responsibility for her own failures and pushes blame on everyone below her and trust me you will always be treated like you are below her. The turnover rate here reflects the poor management of this facility, it is surprising that NFI Corporate hasnt investigated the accounting, business and ethical practices of this facility and its leadership. There are a lot of good employees here (that I absolutely loved working with) being held down by the manager/s of this facility. You can move up but only if you go with the program falsifying documents and doing whatever it takes to make Pat G look good for the show she puts on for the big bosses and so she gets her BIG bonuses. I was here a year and one month terminated over a email I sent to Dan Friley which is the area manager of this company trying to get resolve for a issue was having with Pat G not communicating about a business related issue. One hand will wash the other here but the good employees working here know the real truth and what happens if you make a ripple in the managements pond. Best of luck for you!
