The absolute BEST SERVICE! The first phone call I received was 2 hours prior to their expected arrival time, so when the phone rang I expected to be notified of a possible delay. SO WRONG... these guys were calling to say they had ARRIVED - AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! From the moment they parked that truck and introduced themselves they took over and I no longer felt I had to be in control of everything. They had the entire move planned. I felt all the pressure of moving lifted from my shoulders. My dad being retired military was there ready to help...pick up the "slack". But honestly the way these guys handled everything the only thing my dad ended up doing was just watching in amazement. So impressive to see how these guys worked together. In sync. Caring for each piece of furniture as if it were worth millions. Wrapped, sealed and ready to GO GO GO just watched all my furniture and boxes empty out onto the truck in record time. Unloading just the same and after I blinked the move was OVER and the best transition experience I could have hoped for. Looking to move with Confidence? CALL Platinum Relocation Services!!!

THE WORST : I have moved cross country multiple times and this was by far the worst. BROKEN promises- told I would be the only one on the truck FL to CAL The driver told me my things were loaded and unloaded multiple times. I was told they would take special care of some large artwork. It arrived severely damaged. The wooden crate it was loaded into was ripped apart and screws had gouged out the painting. This took some force to cause this damage. POOR Handling- cross country and my mattresses were not boxed or bagged and arrived a mess. Boxes labeled "fragile" and "Antique" arrived upside down at the bottom of a pile of boxes, or crushed. Several wooden items were not properly wrapped (no blanket--just tossed in the truck) and arrived broken. FAILURE to listen. They were told my new driveway was steep and narrow and to bring a truck no larger than a specific size and I agreed to the cost to offload onto the smaller truck.(I sent them photos and discussed with office in Fl). They brought a much larger truck and .....could not get down the driveway... nor hand carry belongings down the driveway (reasonable). However, I then had to obtain a storage unit to unload and hire a different local mover to transport belongings to the house on a different day as Platinum driver was catching a flight back to Florida that night. OVERCHARGE- They estimated I would need a number of boxes and used many fewer. No refund for unused boxes, much less any of the damage they caused or need for a storage unit or the transfer truck (of the wrong size) or the need for additional local movers. MY ADVICE: USE A NATIONALLY recognized mover. These folks either don't know what they are doing or don't care...probably both. Oh yes, they never responded to subsequent calls or emails.

I had a great experience with Platinum. They lined my doors with blankets to ensure there was no damage. There was a young man in training with my coordinator and if it wasn't right he unwrapped and did it correctly....the customer service was excellent...no surprises on the cost....came to my condo to give me an accurate quote...they kept me updated and did not leave me hanging....I just moved back to Tampa from Virginia and tried to get them but there was no truck available in my area. Ii was a last minute thing therefore I had to get another mover...A real nightmare....doubled the price they initially quoted me. I was lied to from the get go regarding my questions. Trust me you will appreciate Platinum Movers if you experience what I just did. I'm sure mistakes are made from time to time....but get a con artist like I just did.
