  Do NOT recommend! They brought the pod to our home we were moving out of and placed it wrong. So we had to call and have them come out and move it. Then when we had it picked up and taken to our new house, they had very specific instructions on where to place it. They put it in the middle of our driveway and the door facing a brick wall. Had to call again to have them come move it. They said we wouldn’t be charged and we were. So we had to call again to get a refund! Save yourself the hassle and just get a uhaul for a couple days.

  I booked another company (ABF UPACK) thinking I was going to save a few bucks moving my deceased father in laws estate from TN to FL, that was mistake. I use PODS regularly for local storage for my business and should have known better. The move had been scheduled for a couple of months and after traveling out of state and scheduling help the other company calls during their delivery window to say they couldn’t service the location even after receiving a confirmation of service a week prior. To say I was upset is an understatement. This move had been scheduled for 2 months and I was only going to be in town another couple of days. I called PODS hoping they could perform a miracle and boy did they ever. After speaking to Cheryl at the 800 number she got in touch with the local branch and they could have a container out the same day. In less than 30 minutes after getting off of the phone with her I received a call from Jay a driver for the local branch who just happened to have an empty container on his truck but the door was facing the wrong way(no big deal). In less than 2 hours from calling pods an empty container was onsite and within the delivery window from the original company so I was still able to utilize the loading help I had planned for. I know the delivery time is something that won’t happen all the time but the customer service I received today just solidified the fact that I will never use another company other than pods again for personal or business use. I should have just went with my gut and used pods from the start. Thank You!!!

  I had a very poor experience with PODS. They require very long lead times for pick up or delivery, and had limited delivery days available to my location, which extended the time it took to get my household items delivered by a couple of weeks. The driver also damaged my neighbors fence and I've spent over six weeks trying to get a claim processed. Their claims people will not respond to emails or calls and have not provided any status updates on the claim. In the meantime I've already had to pay for the repair to my neighbors fence and I'm out the money for their negligence.
