  Pods provided an excellent service. Great delivery and pick up- responsive and great communication. However, after an accounting error and over charing me for a month of rent ($400+) I have been trying to receive a refund for a month with zero communication from the company other than being told to wait. After calling once a week I have yet to get anywhere. Great service if all goes well but if not don't expect communication or assistance.

  The pods came in handy for storage during a remodel. My issue is that there is no prorating for the rent. Monthly rent is the only option. When I returned my pods 3 weeks early I received no refund. There is no option to rent for less than 1 month. Big deal to know this and my bad for not realizing. Good to shop for companies that have units that you pay for the time you actually rent. Customer service was also seriously below par (excluding the delivery folks).

  I had issues scheduling the delivery of my POD that I had for 8 years in storage due to not being able to afford the delivery to Cali to my current residence here in Knoxville, TN. It took me 5 different customer service agents to actually get it scheduled correctly. You would think after 8 years they would be ready to have this POD back in circulation but apparently my account had issues and was listed as a Legacy account (whatever that means), 1st person scheduled it for the place I had it loaded and picked up from and the next 3 kept saying I wasn't in the service area even though I had previously gotten a quote. Also why raise the prices in the month of December? The quote I got in November was several hundred dollars less. Also we got charged for a delivery that didn't even happen and I had to call and get it refunded. Instead of putting it back on the card that it came from, they sent it to the account I used to pay for my monthly fees.
