      We've had multiple issues with PODS on both ends of our across country move. Our transit was pushed back and then finally we were scheduled to receive both units today, 1/18/22. The smaller unit was dropped off in the morning and we were supposed to have the larger unit deliver later (same day). We just got a message that the unit is not available and that the next available is 1/22/22. We've already scheduled movers for tomorrow to unload and we've paid for permits for street parking and rented barricades. I called and finally spoke with someone at the local warehouse. He was nice but apparently our unit hasn't even arrived for some reason and that it should. If we can't have it here by 9am tomorrow then we have to reschedule our movers (out days) and then have to renew permits and such. This has cost us additional money and much additional stress. This system is terrible and no one seems to communicate with each other (or have the availability to do so). The only way for me to get a response is through google reviews. In general, I will warn everyone away from PODS. I have used other unit moving systems in the past and should have done so this time.

      Price was great. The pod was clean. But the customer service was not acceptable. I scheduled my pod to be delivered on a Saturday so that we would have the weekend the unload. Friday night I never got my email for what time it was going to be delivered. Saturday morning I chatted online and someone told me it was going to come that day and to not worry. Well the day went by and it next came. I chatted again and they said that my pod wasn't even in my location. Which is weird because their website let me schedule the redeliver. Soo they said that I wouldn't be able to get the pod until Tuesday. Another 3 days without our stuff and now it will get here on a workday so we weren't able to unpack until it was dark. On Saturday, when I was told we would have to wait another 3 days for our Pod I asked for some type of refund for the delay. They told me they made the request and I would hear back in 48 hours. Monday afternoon I had not heard back so I reached out and they said oh it actually takes 72 hours. After 72 hours I reached out again because I hadn't heard anything. While I was taking to an agent they kept telling me that what I was asking wasn't in their department and they could not help. They weren't able to answer any of my questions. After asking 3 times they eventually gave me contact info for the department that could help me. During this conversation, they also told me that they were going to have to start responding slower because they needed to help other customers. Why would you start a conversation with someone and then half way through decided to help another customer? Didn't make sense to me. They were extremely unhelpful and made me feel like my questions weren't important.

      Great experience! When we went to schedule our move, the only date available was 3 weeks out but we needed the POD off our property in 10 days per our sales contract. I called PODS and was quickly placed with a representative who helped me navigate and we were able to get our POD moved in time. It is nice to talk to someone directly rather than going in circles on a corporate phone line. I was very impressed with how they handled and resolved our timing issue. Everyone I came in contact with was professional and helpful, thank you!
