  This company was very professional and made moving much less stressful. They responded quickly with a quote, followed up by email and had a straightforward booking process. They talked with me and sent the right number of people for the job. They confirmed everything the day beforehand, and then called 30 minutes before arrival. The movers showed up within the indicated time, and were very professional and efficient. The item we were most worried about was our vintage decorative piano which to us is irreplaceable & they moved it very well. They managed to pack everything fast and carefully into the truck by making sure everything was tightly packed. Overall, fantastic, professional service. Thanks!

  Soooo grateful I went with Popeye movers. Patrick helped with talking me through all of my prep questions, he used Redfin and Google maps to calculate how much furniture we had and the path from our back townhouse to the street. Stephan was like a Swiss watch, on time, effective, efficient, careful - he’s like a moving savant. All the movers were pros, and took care of everything. I already recommended Popeye to 2 other friends who were moving too. The estimate was lower than the actual price by the end of the day by about $700 which I had factored in, everything always takes longer on moving day than you think it will. (4br house, 3 stories, tucked far back off the street.) So I was not surprised because I had assumed that would be the case. I don’t usually write reviews and they didn’t ask me to, I was just really relieved and happy they were so good, went above and beyond, got us all set up in our new house down to rugs and furniture placement and everything. These are the movers you want.
