I should have listened to all the horrible reviews before hiring them but here I am 🤷🏻‍♀️ we hired them to move us in January. They moved all of our stuff and the movers were super nice to my husband and I. When they were done BEFORE we checked every single thing - shame on us for I guess not baby sitting the movers - we gave all the guys a 40$ tip because they again were nice and in/out quickly. They left and I go upstairs and see that my entire back part of my bookshelf is cracked from top to bottom. It is extremely noticeable. So not only did they break something they didn’t even say a single word to us about it and let us tip them thinking everything was ok. Shame on us for thinking we could trust the movers to be honest. I then email the company right after and had to email them 3 separate times with no response. We moved 1/11 it’s now 2/15 and I call the company and speak with a man who said he saw the emails and assumed someone named Shay responded. I told him no and he tells me well the back of your shelves are press board so we don’t cover that. He said it was reviewed and signed before we moved in a service agreement. I told him that makes sense but my frustration mainly is with the dishonesty of the movers and no response. He then says his men are not like that - clearly they are and I can also see that based off previous reviews. I also didn’t remember signing a company agreement about this press board so I ask him to email it back to me where I signed it. He places me on hold for 15+ minutes and says he can’t find it (I don’t have any emails about it) and that regardless it’s company policy. I told him how am I suppose to know that if I am not told. He said no matter what it’s company policy. I said again, I don’t recall signing a service agreement and you don’t have it on file nor do I, so it seems to me that you didn’t have me sign it but now want to cover your tracks and not have to refund me for my broken bookshelf. This dude literally started arguing with me on the phone about it when they didn’t even have a copy that shows I signed it. All he could send me was a copy of an unsigned service agreement. So all in all - avoid this company at all cost. Don’t try and save money by going to them it will just bite you in the butt. Go to a better company that is professional and honest. I should have listened to the previous reviews I saw about them not replacing furniture they broke or about how horrible their moving guys are. And honestly had the movers been upfront and honest from the beginning I wouldn’t even be upset like I am now I would have understood. It’s the constant dishonesty and unprofessional workers that don’t want to own up to their mistakes.
