  A complete joke of a company. Showed up to my house and hour and a half late. I requested the biggest stuff to be moved and was assured by the movers they would. After truck was full they said it would be about an additional 500.00 to get the job done. When I checked inside three large items still were not loaded (9 person sectional being one of them). They went to wrong house address on drop off even though the address was correct on the text I sent them which wasted a half hour. Damaged two very expensive things beyond repair. When I spoke to owner he said it was a subcontractor and he didn’t make any money on the job so he would refund 2 hours of labor which would equal 240.00. He sent me a check for 100.00. I don’t know if he’s not good at math or just enjoy ripping people off. I would highly recommend looking for someone else for your move.

  Extremely happy with R &T movers. Very personable, attentive with the needs of my move, and honest. Two movers were sent to help- (based on what I shared that needed to be moved during my first phone call) and they worked so hard and also took care of my belongings. I appreciated the cost break- down explained in detail up front- and they were reliable and honest to the very last minute. Very reasonable in cost and I’ve been singing their praises since my move. I would use them again, for sure. Thank you for making this move less strenuous and stressful!

  There is probably a good reason R&T doesn't take credit cards and highly encourages cash. So when all the damage is added up, they don't have to deal with credit card and check stops. Missing dishes, lots of broken glass, transported garbage, no set down of large items in the correct location, spending time loading stuff they want for free over your time, smashed clothing storage bags, throwing items on top of each other without regard for fragility, and on, and on. Owner sent me a check for $100 reimbursement. I won't cash it. I'd rather trash the company since the damage was in the hundreds of dollars. He never listened to all the wrongs. Hung up on me and later called to say check in the mail. He didn't even know which CONTRACTORS performed my job. Then didn't know they brought in another guy who they admitted was a mistake. No background checks for people handling your best stuff? Contractors told me they had to take big hits because of claimed damages on recent moves. Well that sure brought a lot of confidence. Please consider what is most valuable to you when hiring this mover.
