  Horrible moving company! I had a friend that just moved and all the stuff was damage. Not only were they sitting around doing nothing so she had to help move stuff. They started arguing in front of her kids acting very unprofessional. Management needs to fire them. If I move I will never use this company. You lost a ton of valuable customers because the men you hire are childish. I wish I could give it 0 rating.

  They are going to quote you the lowest quote you'll be able to find and then once everything is loaded into the truck they will double the quote. Your stuff will then be moved to a storage unit and then in and out of trucks 3+ more times. All of my boxes and rubber totes had been crushed/compacted at least 4 inches. My wedding dress and 2 other boxes ended up in Florida (I moved to Tennessee) and I ended up with someone else's lawn furniture. ALL OF MY LARGE FURNITURE WAS BROKEN. I had a bookcase that was just a pile of sticks when it arrived. When I tried to file a claim I was told by Manager Tom McJilton that if they paid out any claim amount they would own my possessions and come to my home with a big truck and take it. I ended up taking them to small claims court for destruction of property and winning. (They did not show up to court, so I won by default) I looked up their insurance carriers on the FMCSA website and sent them the documents from the court case and they paid out the lawsuit.

  I didn't check any reviews before hiring Simply for my move from portland to nyc, but they must have changed management or turned over a new leaf. The crew was incredible. Tito was incredibly knowledgeable, and my rep Ralph answered every single time I called, and never got the slightest bit frustrated with my many questions. My delivery was made ahead of schedule, and I wasn't even penalized for having extra boxes since it fit into the cubic foot space of my price. Highly recommend these guys.
