Be VERY careful with this company’s billing practices We hired Movers Co in the Boone area to help with moving items from storage into our home. I was very clear on the phone with what I needed…two hours of assistance. While their rate seemed high ($180 an hour for 3 helpers) I was willing to spend around $400 to get this done. They arrived, and were very nice if young and I’m not sure how experienced. The first item was pulled from my unit at 2:41pm. We began working, and at the two hour mark I asked if they could stay one more hour, which they agreed to. The last box came off the truck at, remarkably, 5:41pm. Rather than being billed for 3 hours, I was billed for 4. And then on top of that, I was billed for 1.75 hours of travel time, at the same rate as the working time. When we spoke on the phone, I was NEVER counseled that I would also be billed for travel time, especially for that much and at that rate. I’ve written the company to question my bill, but received 1 voice mail (only after showing them the review I planned on posting) and otherwise they have refused to contact me back or provide any refund. I’d stay away from this company. Before you think I've reacted too quickly, this happened 9 months ago, plenty of time for a resolution.

Mr. Granger, we have spoken several times about your experience. Note you have left a review on the wrong google page and have not taken into account that we charge from the time we leave our warehouse, until the time we are projected to get back to our warehouse based on gps time without traffic. This was discussed over 9 months ago via email. We have also left you several voicemails regarding your claim and have explained that you asking our guys to stay an extra hour is why your estimate increased. You have not replied to our email for over 9 months after leaving threatening messages about a negative review. We are hardworking, trustworthy individuals and treat every customer with the upmost respect and guarantee. We hate that you had a misunderstanding about our billing process. Every customer is told at the time of estimation that our time starts from the warehouse until the time we get back. If you have any further questions feel free to call us at our Boone office: 828-264-3557. We answer every day 9am to 5pm.
