      My wife and I hired Tru Solutions to move into our next home. On the day of the move, the truck arrived about 1.5 hours late ( can't fault them though, they miss placed the keys). They then moved all of our stuff. They got lost for what seems 30 minutes on the drive to the house(these guys charge by the minute). Once we got to the new house some items went downstairs into the basement, some upstairs. They nailed our stairs at two spots, scratched our dining room table, and severely scratch a dresser. We noticed the damage on the stairs, they apologized and said they have a damages department that will handle it from here on out. It has now been 1 month since the move, and we have tried contacting the damages department multiple times with no one answering the email or phone calls. Hoping that this review gets them to contact us to resolve the issues that happened. What made it worse, was we didn't even notice the damage to the dresser or table until after they left. They didn't tell us they damaged the items probably because they are scared of getting into trouble but this doesn't reflect the professionalism that we should expect from people. Tell us the truth when something is damaged. Update: going on 7 weeks from moving. We have called 10+ times, and emailed. Still not any closer to a solution. So unprofessional!

      I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for your moving needs. We hired this company to help us move some bigger furniture items from one apartment to another in the same complex. They had a 2.5 hour minimum and charged $36 for every additional 15 minutes. They were scheduled to arrive between 9:30 and 10:30 but let us know that they were running late and would arrive between 11 and 12. They ended up arriving just before 12 but later claimed they arrived at 11 and tried to charge us with that arrival time. On arrival, they seemed surprised with how much they actually had to move and I was hopeful it would be under 2 hours. They were quick to move the items out but when it came to moving the items over to the new place, their speed and efficiency went out the window. They did not use the equipment they brought and ended up using our tools and went on multiple breaks while we walked passed them multiple times while they were watching videos on their phones with our items laying out in the open. I am totally fine with them taking breaks, but what I am not fine with is for them to never stop the clock on those breaks and essentially for us paying their time when they were not doing anything. They also never told us when the 2.5 minimum was over. Our couch was covered with scuff marks, they kept dropping our washer and dryer while going up the stairs which I'm guessing caused the plug to bend on the washer (nevermind that we paid them extra to hook up the washer and dryer but the washer was not plugged in after they left). We only noticed damages after they left as they never mentioned anything to us. Overall what we paid was extortionate for them to take their sweet time moving our items, lie about their arrival time and overall have such low level of professionalism. Please, go with another company and save yourself the anxiety and stress that you will undoubtedly get with Tru Solutions.

      I would rate them negative stars if it were an option. I called a couple days ago for a quote to move a large, odd-shaped, and heavy couch about 50 miles. Was quoted $290. Because of the weather and time I needed it, I was willing to pay it and Larry assured me it wasn't too small of a job. They scheduled me for today, and said I would hear from the movers between 1 and 2pm. When I didn't hear from them as promised, I called to inquire, since I had other people to communicate with in the location the couch was coming from. The lady on the phone did everything she could to get me off the phone, when all I was asking for was a status, not trying to tell her my life story. She said she would reach out to the movers and call me back in 10-15 minutes. Cool. Waited another hour and called back. Straight to voicemail. Waited another hour. Called back. Went straight to voicemail. It is well past 6pm and I have yet to receive a SINGLE phone call from anyone. I left a voicemail in case there was a typo in my information. I totally get things come up and maybe they became unavailable, but it really feels like I'm being avoided. It would have been nice to know when I had the chance for a Plan B. Seriously the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with--even worse than impound lots and tow companies. Quick tip: pay the extra money to have actual professionals handle your move. You would think the guys would want a quick and easy $300 plus tips. Pathetic.
