I had called the Stockbridge, GA office to schedule a local move because of the good online reviews. My move consisted of the contents of a two bedroom house that was in a commercial storage facility. These contents were put in storage straight off a truck from an interstate move, so everything was already "move ready." And the destination for this local move was less than two miles away. Setting up the move was a breeze. The office person was great; she explained the pricing, the dates available, and what the process would be for payment as well as the physical part of the move. When someone called the day before the move to confirm, he told me that they had so many bookings for that Saturday that they needed to borrow a crew from the Snellville location; it was still the same size truck and number of men (3). The next morning, the crew chief (I'll call him Ed.) called to tell me they were running a little late. At that time, I told him that we had more boxes than in a typical move, so he needed to make sure he had at least two dollies. He said he had one on the truck, but would go back and get another. Even with this delay, they were only 10 minutes later than the original time of the appointment. Upon arrival, Ed told me that tips weren't necessary, but were appreciated. Then he wanted to argue about everything as the day progressed. Although the contents of the storage cube went in straight off another moving truck, Ed insisted that everything be pulled out, staged, and then loaded on his truck. He wouldn't listen to me or the other guys on his crew for the best way to load any part of it. This took twice the amount of time, for which I was being charged by the hour. What should have taken two hours, at most, took four. While moving the contents off the truck and into the house, two of the guys were utilizing dollies, and the third was moving one box at a time. I had my own personal dolly, so I offered to let them use it. I noticed guy #3 was still doing one box at a time. When I commented on the futility of that, he said he preferred doing it that way; it helped him lose weight. In another room, Ed was beginning to take the plastic wrap off the dresser. I told him I could get that, and he wanted to argue with me about it. I told him that time costs money, and he was wasting my money on unwrapping plastic when I needed the contents moved off the truck and into the house. This move was in July, it was hot, so it was a tiresome job. Ed had not provided water for his guys, so I felt the need to run out to the store to get a case of water for them. So the contents were all finally coming of the truck, and in the process, some furniture was damaged. When I pointed these things out to Ed, he at first denied it. After several minutes of arguing, he agreed and started doing the paperwork. As he was doing the paperwork, he said that he really should be keeping the clock running, but he was going to give me a break and stop it when all of the articles were brought into the house. When all was completed, it took a total of seven hours when it should have taken four. A few days after the move, I received a survey request. I completed it, but there wasn't enough room to write all of the above, so I just said I'd write my review on Google. In just a couple of hours, the regional manager called me to discuss the issues. He listened, apologized, and offered to repair the furniture. We agreed on a sum that was fair for the damages, and in a couple of weeks I received a check with a letter apologizing for the difficulties, and thanking me for giving them to opportunity to resolve the problem. They made it right for me, so I was going to withhold this review, but something new arrived in my mailbox this week. I received a reimbursement check made out to someone else with the same form letter attached; different customer but the same issue. So, this tells me mine was not an isolated incident, and this review should be written.

These guys came and I thought to myself, its not going to get done, boy was I wrong. They moves 2 storage units in 2 hrs. We had so much stuff from a 3700 sq ft home. Would definitely recommend them. I'm so thankful for them cause my husband just damaged his shoulder, we would have never been able to do this. And nothing was damaged.

Have used this company several times in the past, but this last move was very disappointing. Many lost and broken items. Boxes not put in rooms they were marked for. Damage to doors and trim. Packing was sub-standard. Glad this was our last move!!
