  I want to preface this by stating that I do not believe on blasting businesses, however, the amount of regret that I have for having contacting this company is quite high. I had contacted this company as a recommendation from a family friend, who had moved from FL to CO, the same move that I made not long ago. When I called U-Pack, a female rep, created a quote for me, for 2 cubes, and during my conversation with her I had mentioned the amount of furniture I was taking and their measurements, so the quote could be accurate, she was "very sure" that I would only need 2 cubes for a 3 bedroom apartment, when I asked how much could be the fee if instead the moving was done center to center, she said they did not perform that service, which was odd since my family friend had that service done. I called back in Spanish and a male rep had assured me that they did offer the service center to center, and that he would change it, to which my quote was $2K, to which I was very satisfied. Comes the day of taking my furniture and boxes to the center, I was in shock, there was a 5 feet by 2 feet cube for 2 3 feet dressers, bookshelves, 3 night stands, and around 40 boxes. I went directly to the office, which is apartment is a sub-contractor from U-pack, the male representative, who was very nice, directed me to speak to U-pack as he was unable to make any changes. I called U-pack and the male representative told me that "we" (the customer) where supposed to know it would not fit (even after we provided with the measurements and numbers of each piece of furniture), and that there was nothing they could do, other than creating another quote for another cube which would take my quote to double $4K, or a 13-feet of a trailer for $5K. The representatives are scammers, they do expect you to know the cubes and how much can be arranged there, when they are the "experts", and when you have no other option you either have to find more $ or figure out another option. From my initial quote of $2K I end up paying $5K, and there was no sympathy from U-Pack, nor any help since they were the ones that made the calculation mistake. I have seen another case like this, however the customer did give U-Pack 4 to 5 starts, which for me is unbelievable, also, whilst in the Miami Center, you are able to see upset people, I am assuming for the same reasons. At this time I have already moved, but I am extremely regretful of ever calling this people. If you took the time to read this far, PLEASE STAY AWAY, they are not worth it and sooner rather than later you will find yourself paying more for space.

  What a professional and punctual moving experience? These folks were clear and detailed in how everything was to be done. I had full control of my stuff and at every point felt confident that I was dealing with a responsible group. They will communicate with you at every stage and clearly keep you in the know. And the best was that i left the driving to professionals. Will definitely use them again in my next move.

  Overall great service. I would highly recommend this option for anyone making a long distance move. The only down side was that terminals aren't typically open on weekends so you have to load and unload Mon-Fri unless you get door-to-door service but that wasn't an option for me. The move was quick and with no surprises and the price was better than any other options I could find. The pod looks small but you need to utilize vertical space well. I was able to fit in 2 tall book cases, a couch, a queen mattress, and a bunch of boxes. I still had plenty of vertical space left. Make sure to use some bungee cords to tie down your stuff because it does shift during transport. Definitely would use again.
