Overall an okay move, but not the best. We've moved 11 times in 32 years. We had more items damaged this time than ever before. Nothing huge, but a door was damaged in our home we were vacating, and several small pieces of furniture are now useless. I'm also aggravated by the trash I'm finding amongst the packing paper in our boxes- items like used tape rolls, plastic wrap from packs of paper, and plastic ties from bundles of boxes. I have enough stuff to discard without this trash that Allied should have hauled away.

We have a 3 bedroom house, looking to make a significant cross country move. They sent a surveyor out to get an estimate and then literally ghosted us. Never returned any of our phone calls, or even got back to us with a quote. Not a reliable moving company.

Beware. an employee went to my 17 year old daughter's bedroom and spoke with her inappropriately during the move. the packers stole items while packing. the movers broke items and damaged the hardwood floors in my new house. All claims for damage and stolen items were DENIED.
