  Moving can be a overwhelming experience for most people, Delta Moving System made moving my elderly family members stress free. I am so happy we found them. Setting up the move was easy and the office staff were clear communicators and customer service oriented. On moving day, the crew showed up on schedule. The movers themselves were outstanding. They were attentive to specific needs, they did a great job of wrapping pieces to keep from getting damaged, and they were true professionals. The cost was good for the outstanding value they provided. We will recommend them to our friends and family.

  I would not recommend this company to anyone. I should have listened to my instinct and hired a different company, even though it would have cost more. When the packers showed up they did the worst job I can even fathom to pack my things. Books were packed into wardrobe boxes, some wardrobe boxes were nothing but books. Everything was poorly packed, and many of my fragile things were thrown into boxes with no paper or padding of any kind. My kids’ transformer toys were bent coming out of boxes. My guitar was thrown into a wardrobe box with books and other random things. My kitchen materials were carelessly packed. My container of toothpicks wasn’t wrapped, and toothpicks were everywhere in the box so I was stabbed with a toothpick unpacking one of the boxes. My garlic powder wasn’t wrapped, or taped and now I have an empty container and a box full of garlic powder. My master bedroom TV was thrown into a wardrobe box next to my side table lamp and a picture frame, along with other random things that were in my bedroom. There were several sewing machines at the bottom of wardrobe boxes, which means I cannot get them out without cutting the boxes apart. They took the things off my table and set them on the floor to the side, then they put my table in the truck vertically, so It got stuck when they tried to take it off the truck. Now my table is wobbly, where it wasn’t before. My kids’ drawers were in wardrobe boxes, as was each of their 3 shelf bookcases. The boxes were not labeled or marked. Almost nothing was packed properly or even appropriately. Many things were broken or destroyed because of their careless packing. Several of my things that I know they packed have disappeared including: a jump start and battery backup machine, 2 sets of brand new in box Corelle dishes, and my bin of Christmas decorations that included handmade Christmas stockings, an heirloom handmade Christmas stocking, a German Christmas pyramid, advent wreath, a Christmas village from my grandparents, and my handmade nativity set. I attempted to contact the company about the missing and damaged items, and was told that their customer service would “assist me in the claims process”. That was nearly 2 weeks ago and I have heard nothing from them. Don’t worry, Delta. I have not forgotten how terrible your company was. I am just working on cleaning up the enormous disaster you made, and grieving the loss of my Christmas items.

  They were great from the beginning. They was very helpful when scheduling and discussing prices. They worked with us to make sure we were getting the best deal. The movers who came to pack us up were wonderful. Everything was wrapped and packed perfectly, which was not easy with the stairs and a small walkway to the truck. At the delivery, they were also wonderful. They were quick to unload and unwrap everything. Everything came back in perfect shape and good condition. We are very thankful for this company to help in our move.
