  Used Johnson's Moving when moving from our 4 bed room house. Crew showed up on time and got the move completed in only a few hours. They were fast and friendly along with treating our stuff with respect.

  So if this was just for the movers, I would give 5 stars. However, I am rating 2 stars due to my interaction with the phone representative. I called 1.5 weeks in advance to set up my appointment. Given the nature of where my apartment is located, I was told that it would be 200/ hour. Though I am on a budget, I understood and said it would be fine. I told the lady on the phone that I only had a few large items that needed moving. At NO POINT during the conversation was I told that there was a two hour minimum. So basically I planned for one hour of moving. I moved most small things myself and it only took the movers 1 hour to move my stuff. Only after everything was moved did I find out that I would have to pay for an hour that I did not get. I would have left more items for them to move if this was the case. I understand if you have a policy of two hour minimum, but I was never told. I tried calling with no answer or response

  I called and set an appointment to have an upright piano moved two weeks before the moving date. The owner said I was under quoted at $185 and now wanted $300 less then 24 hours before. The lack of professionalism by this company is astonishing, and it clearly happens consistently if you go through and see the reviews.
