  I would highly recommend PODS to anyone who is moving, but cannot move into their new dwelling right away. We needed to be out of our house in July, but couldn’t move into the new place until December. PODS provided safe storage for our belongings. After the POD was packed, it was moved to within 10 miles of our new address, and stored there until we were able to move in.

  We used PODS to mover from Massachusetts to Missouri. We used a 16ft container. The delivery, pick-up, redelivery and final pick-up all were on time with friendly drivers. Nothing was damaged in the move which was amazing. The price quoted did not change and was just less than half of the best quote from moving companies. The only issue we had was with the door not closing smoothly, we had to play with it a bit to close it. All in all, we will absolutely go with PODS again.

  I would NOT recommend PODS. I got a POD for a move. The first one leaked and smelled badly. It was replaced with another one with holes in the top where the water could just come right through. They replaced the second one with a third POD that also smelled but not as bad as the first one, and also had water leaking in. When I noticed boxes were getting wet from the water that leaked in I decided it was time to get a Uhaul instead. I changed it to a local rental and had them take the POD away. I ended up being charged $755 a leaky / smelly POD that I could not use for the move without damaging our things. They would only give me a $25 refund for the hassle and poor experience. If you are planning to move save yourself money and the headache and just get a Uhaul. If you need to store things, save yourself the money and headache and use a storage unit. In either case it work a lot better and cost a lot less.
