I've never posted a negative Google review in my life. I have moved twice with PODS, and I thought the first time was just a fluke. My final delivery and pickup dates were messed up on their end, so I had to pay more for a street permit for the container and had to stay in a hotel for 4 days before the POD arrived late. The second move was just outrageous. Because of another issue on their end, the container was over two weeks late, and it was cheaper for me to fly home and stay with family than to stay in a hotel for that long. I filed an incident report for that (incident #1), and was assigned an incident report manager. and when the container arrived, much of my furniture was stained and damaged from excessive jostling even though I had padded everything with furniture blankets, bubble wrap, etc. I filed an incident report on that as well (incident #2), but PODS said it was my fault for not packing the container properly. The incident report manager for the first one emailed me sporadically, finally sent me an email to ask the total I needed to be reimbursed, and promptly ghosted me. It has been 9 months since this second move occurred, and I still have not seen a penny of the money she said in writing I would be paid back. If you ask me, two chances for a company as big as PODS is two chances too many. Use any other moving service. You will lose so much money and time dealing with this company.

Everything about PODS was awesome, from the initial phone call to the final pick up. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. The initial sales rep walked me through all of the costs and the dates the payments would be made. I needed 2 containers to be delivered on different days, and I had to make a change to one of the containers. The rep I spoke to made the process so easy, and went over all of the changes with me. I lived in a rural area, with a gravel driveway, and the driver that dropped off and picked up the containers were so good and careful. All of the drivers for pick up and drop off were so good at calling beforehand and giving estimates of when they would arrive (they were very accurate, like magic!). Moving is not fun, but I am so thankful that the entire PODS team was there to help.

PODS does not deliver on time. I am now at my house for 10 days with no furniture or beds because they lied about delivery times when we first ordered our POD. I would not recommend PODS to anybody. They also don't have any management that you can speak to when you call. Just admin that answer phones. Save the money and rent a UHAUL.
