  Professional Movers Group gave us high standard moving services during our long distance move from Rockville to Ohio. We were moving a 4 bedroom home and had a very tight time frame of 2 weeks to complete the move. Ron and his team came to our home to give us a precise onsite estimate. The chance to meet Ron really was a great plus and persuaded us to go with Professional Movers Group. The service was a full packing and reassembling service - we were charged by the pound amount of which the belongings weighed. It is easy to recommend a moving company who is both affordable in their rates and superb in their service.

  On Saturday, September 13, my wife and I used your services to move about 3 miles. The crew who moved our belongings (a tall Iranian man and two brothers who said they were from Guatemala and their father works for your company also), was very unprofessional and disorganized and left our old home a mess, including leaving a good amount of our property behind for us to collect. They also caused some problems at our new home. ISSUES: * They left bits of paper and plastic from the packing supplies and empty Gatorade bottles throughout our old home for us to clean up later. * They shoved shelves and bookcases over to remove their contents before hauling them to the truck and leaving the contents strewn about the floors. * They refused to move any item that wasn't already boxed up and taped up by us. When I first discussed this job with your representative, Mary, she assured me they could do a partial pack and would come with boxes for whatever we hadn't boxed already. * We had purchased a multitude of packaging items from U-Haul. Most of it was returned unopened as your crew never bothered with it. They could've easily packed up some of what they left behind if they'd used these items. * They also informed me, upon arrival at my home, that they could not accept American Express. Mary told me I could pay on any major credit card. * They claimed they couldn't get our second refrigerator into the house through the basement sliding door, and made excuses that the door was more narrow on the bottom than the top. * They tore our leather pull-out couch on the basement doorframe because they didn't bother to remove the door when they brought the couch downstairs (See attached photo). Sears just installed a new washer and dryer and it took them 5 seconds to remove that door. * They took their lunch break on our front lawn while still on the clock moving our things and tossed their Chinese food cartons into our recycle container instead of the trash, meaning we had to put their trash where it belonged. * They removed plastic wrapping and tape from various items and piled it on the front lawn and in the recycle container, then left it there for us to clean up when they left. * Some of the boxes were placed in the wrong rooms after they had been given specific instructions as to where they should be put, forcing us to relocate them. DAMAGE CLAIM: *Damage to one leather pull-out couch (see attached image). My wife purchased this couch new from Jennifer Leather in Falls Church before we were married. Your crew tore the leather moving it into our new home. We expect Professional Movers Group to rectify this
