The movers for this company ruined several pieces of valuable furniture that I had, and tried to insist that it was previously in that condition. The movers became belligerent and insulting. Their attitude during this whole ideal was rude and disgraceful. The manager of the moving company that I spoke with on the phone said that he would come to view the furniture and bring someone to repair it, but never responded to multiple emails and phone calls. They moved a piece of furniture, a buffet that I have, and it was scratched severely in several places. The movers lied and tried to tell me that the damage was already on the buffet, even though I had moved it into my storage unit and it was perfectly fine. Not only was it scratched, but they piled several heavy items on top of it, and now the drawers do not close easily. I packed that buffet in my storage unit myself and it remained covered with two thick blankets while it was there. It was either scratched when they were taking it out of the storage unit because they were not being careful enough, or it was scratched at some other point in the moving process. It was very obvious that the scratches were new, as there was a pile of fresh scrapings of paint all along the top of it. I provided several photos of this to the company. Additionally, damage was done to my Korean trunk, an extremely rare and prized item that is irreplaceable and I emphasized to the company that it was valuable. They said they would send someone to fix it and they never did. This company ruined 80% of the furniture I own. There were multiple IKEA pieces that I had that were all scratched and banged up, but I honestly only care about my buffet and trunk. If they would have responded we could have worked something out, but they blatantly ruined my furniture and lied about repairing it. In addition, the movers that did the job were rude to one of the guys on the job. They spent most of the job complaining about the third guy, bullying him, and trash talking how bad he was at his job. One of the guys spent 10 minutes mansplaining moving mattresses to me, even though I've moved mattresses several times and honestly didn't need his opinion. Overall the experience was not pleasant, and I still could have gotten over that if they hadn't ruined the only good furniture I own. They also don't accept credit cards, you have to pay by PayPal or Venmo. Annoying.

‘Immediately charged $1000 more when they showed up. Wrapped a few items in old used torn cloths and charged full price for packing material. Said our cubic foot was doubled. Not true. There was once nice person in the office but the others were nasty and were threatening us on the phone to pay the balance immediately. Please do yourself a favor and educate yourself and do not use the brokers that contract. There are better moving companies out there. Items arrived with rubbed spots in furniture, bookcase was destroyed and boxes were wet. Delivery guys on receiving end were fantastic. The res of the experiment was horrible. Don’t make they mistake we made.

Green Planet Movers estimate was affordable and fair compared to other movers I’ve used, I couldn't resist booking them for a move from MD to VA. After booking, I was slightly worried going with Green Planet Movers but it worked out at the end of the deal. With the details given to them, they sent me the right number of men to do the moving with a perfect truck. All the fragile items were moved without damages. These folks are friendly, fast, hardworking and super-efficient. I couldn’t ask for a better moving experience.
