  Smartbox Portland was very helpful in providing storage solutions for our son attending college in Portland. They provided reliable service and delivery of a storage box in a quick turnaround time when students needed to move-out quickly in March 2020. Then, when our son returned to campus, they were equally helpful and provided delivery of my son’s belongings as promised. Thank you Smartbox for being so dependable and easy to work with during these unprecedented times!

  Overall, a nice service to have (having boxes delivered to your door is super convenient!) The boxes are solid and clean and Smart Box will even send locks (for an extra fee) if you don't have time to go to the store and buy them yourself. The problems I've had have been with billing. I've had several instances where I was charged for boxes I wasn't using or drop-offs we didn't have; also situations where we were on auto-pay and suddenly got sent an email claiming we had a late fee! Each time, I was able to solve this by speaking with someone in customer service, but it was frustrating to have to make the call when we were already knee-deep in all the logistics of moving houses. Overall, good service to use but keep an eye on your bill and make sure to call if there is anything that seems out of place on the invoice!

  I used Smart Box for my moving and storage needs and they were great. They arrived on time for the move and everything went exactly as discussed and pre-arranged before the pick-up and transport. Very helpful staff during the set-up and moving process. I continue to store my stuff with them, and have used an auto-pay billing system for the last couple years - still great; no surprises .
