  The most stressful moving experience I have had to date. They changed my moving dates of when the boxes would be dropped off and picked up at the very last minute. They tried to compensate this error with labor to load the smartboxes, but the movers that came were very rude, dropped our stuff and packed the boxes poorly. We would have been better off doing it ourselves. Part of the labor compensation was to include moving materials, but the movers that showed up stated that this wasn't true and that they didn't even have those materials on hand. After fifteen minutes of back and forth they magically brought out wrap and packing pads. Also they gave me the moving contract to sign the day after they picked up my belongings...which did not even have the correct information. I had to edit the contract myself. This delayed when they could ship the containers even further. If you are looking into the storage container type of move, I would highly suggest looking into a different company.

  After initially having difficulty with Smartbox and giving them a 1 star rating I am editing my review to 3 stars. The local Plano, Tx manager, Troy, was easy to deal with and was able to handle the issues in an expedited manner. Thanks Troy for your assistance!

  Smart box is the only way to go. If you are moving on a budget and expect high quality this is the only way. Thank you so much.
