This is about the National Customer Service phone service of U-Haul. when you call the local store sometimes you get the National Customer Service. The caller will not know this, thinking it is the local store. I called the local number to 6401 Central location, to confirm that they could refill a couple of propane tanks, the person on the other end of the phone said yes until 7PM. I left at 4:15PM got to the location at 6401 Central and they employee said we do not have anyone certified to do it. She called a near by store and talked to the onsite person and they had someone that could do it but they closed at 5PM. Fly over and got it done. U-Haul National Customer Support rates 1 star, local store rates 5

They think it's cute to tell you they're open for propane refills, then when you're there a few minutes later their certified tech had "just left". Couldn't of possibly told us he was leaving soon i guess.

Awesome guys at U-haul San pedro And Central..I literally drove to 3 places to get propane and all 3 told me they could Not fill my tank cause it was too old!! Had a stamp on it saying 1993. However I went to U-haul on central just east of san pedro and these guys were great!! They told me it didn't matter how old my tank was they would still fill it if I gave then an extra 20 but it needed to be in cash!! Good thing I had that..anyway I am so thankful for these guys it was well worth the little extra I paid ..Now I will sleep nice and warm Tonite yes I will definitely be coming back....
